When you think about all the components that make up your personal brand, it includes all of the following and even more:

  • Passion

  • Purpose

  • Superpower

  • Values

  • Differentiation

Your personal branding strategy should be your intentional and strategic approach to how the world perceives you based on a combination of your values, your skills, your experiences and how you show up.

This includes ensuring that when you show up, your brand also resonates with the following:

  • What do you stand for?

  • What makes you different?

  • What do you want people to say about you when you’re not there?

Whether you are interested in elevating career profile within your existing company, trying to enhance your profile to find a new job or make a career pivot, or looking to leverage your expertise and experience to launch your own small business, understanding the power of your personal brand is key.

If you don't already understand this, you already have a personal brand. The question is whether or not it is the reflection that you want of you. Stay tuned for following posts on the critical components to a personal branding strategy including your Statement, Style and Story and my proprietary approach to the Personal Branding Architecture Process to being your best self!
